Day 3: Manchester, NH to Kennebunkport, ME
mike
We left Manchester at 9:00 am after having a great home cooked breakfast of French Toast and sausage at the Ash street B&B. Took a slow twisting route to get to Wells, ME where we were going to play a game of Golf at the Old Marsh GC. Got there around 10:30 am and tried to see if we could get to start early and very surprised to find them busy and all booked right up to 12:00 noon.
So we left to go to a local driving range to warm up. It really wasn't more than a cow pasture with a couple of flags stuck in the ground. Anyways got back to start our game and Mom and I finished playing after 4 1/2 hours. Really slow and really HOT, drank 6 bottles of water during the round.
Then to find our new home for the next 4 days. The Captain Jefferd's Inn B & B. A beautiful old place and we got the room at the top, on the 3rd floor. No elevators here so guess who got stuck carrying the bags up 3 floors ?
Off to dinner with Chip & Lyn at a local place called " Hurricane's ", fabulous food, a great dinner and only within 10 minutes walking from our Inn. Looking forward to the next 3 days of fun activities here in Kennebunkport. Off to bed as tomorrow will be a long day.

We had a lovely dinner with Chip & Lyn Hurricane's. Dad had a spectacular scallops dish and I had shrimp and fettucini. We both started with an amazing Lobster chowder; I think I'm definitely going to have my fill of Lobster on this trip... yummy!
Tomorrow we golf in Kennebunkport with the Peers' out of town guests followed by a Lobster bake!
